Position: Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon

Start Date: November 27, 2024

Shift Details:

24-hour beeper call
Schedule: November 27 (7am) - December 1 (7am)
24-hour beeper call throughout the coverage period
Work Details:

Coverage Needed per Month: 1 week
Support Staff: Full APP support during the day, call-in APP support at night for first assist as needed
Average Surgical Cases per Day: 2
New Consults per Day: Average of 6
Minimal PM Coverage Needs: Especially after 10 PM
Patient Population/Age: Adult
Department Description: Hospital with 24-hour beeper coverage
EMR System: Cerner

Special Procedures:

Manage pelvic and acetabular fractures (not required)
Pediatric cases preferred but not required
Experience Requirements:

Level 1 Trauma Experience: Required
Board Certification: BC or BE in Orthopedic Surgery
License Required: AZ license or IMLC LOQ
DEA: Yes
CSR: No
Certifications Required: ATLS
Minimum Experience Required: 1 year
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days
