Job description

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position specializing in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery in California. The role involves managing adult patients within a hospital setting, covering a wide range of procedures including CABGs, transplants, VADs, and thoracic cases. Responsibilities include CT removal, PW removal, CXR interpretation, and vein harvesting. The position requires a start date of August 31 (or as soon as credentialed) with a contract running until October 31, 2024. You’ll be using EPIC for EMR, and the position requires a CA license, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Board Certification is mandatory, and applicants should have 1-2 years of relevant experience.
