About the clinician's workday
The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with weeknight and weekend call required. At least 15 days of call per month are needed, with call-backs primarily for labor and delivery coverage, C-sections, or consultations in the emergency department. The preferred schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off, with call running from Monday at 7 AM to the following Monday at 7 AM. During on-call weeks, the clinic hours remain Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
